Linda is a London based artist whose early career as a qualified architect was spent working for a number of award winning architectural practices. Her graphic skills were employed preparing artwork and presentation drawings for national and international competitions. Her work was exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.

Following a successful show at the Hicks Gallery, Wimbledon and a sell-out ARThouse Open Studio event Linda decided to become a full-time professional artist in 2005. Since then her work has been shown in a number of prestigious London galleries. In 2007 she showed at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show for the first time with outstanding success, selling all of her large oil paintings. In the same year she also exhibited two paintings at The Royal Institute of Oil Paintings winning the prestigious Stanley Grimm Prize 2007-2008 which is awarded to the most popular painting in the show by public vote.

A few months ago Saga commissioned Linda for a giant painting of orchids to hang in the reception of the Bel Jou Hotel in St Lucia. They quickly spotted an interesting story for their magazine and sent out a team to interview Linda about her work.
